श्री हिन्दू तख्त के प्रमुख प्रदेश प्रचारक वरुण मेहता ने प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी जी को पत्र लिख कर पुलवामा में हुए आतंकी हमले में शहीद होने वाले सैनिको की शहादत से सबक लेकर सुरक्षाबलों को आंतकवाद के खात्मे के लिए विशेष अधिकार देने की मांग की उन्होंने कहा कि इतिहास में पहली बार ऐसी घटनाएं सामने आई कि जम्मू कश्मीर में सुरक्षाबलों को सरेआम शरारती तत्वों द्वारा मारपीट कर उनका अपमान किया गया आंतकियो को मारने वाले सेना व अर्ध सैनिक बलो के खिलाफ केस दर्ज किए गए भाजपा ने सत्ता की लालसा में पीडीपी प्रमुख महबूबा मुफ्ती के इशारों पर चलते हुए ऑटोमेटिक रायफल देने के बावजूद सुरक्षा बलों के हाथ बांध दिए जिसका खमियाज़ा हमे शहीदों के खून से देना पड़ रहा है।

मेहता ने उन्हें याद दिलाते हुए कहा कि पिछले आम चुनावों के दौरान आपने आंतकवाद के खात्मे को लेकर बड़ी बड़ी बातें की लेकिन अफसोस सत्ता के मोह में आप सब भूल गए।
मोदी जी आपने पाकिस्तान के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री नवाज शरीफ के जन्मदिन पर पाकिस्तान जाकर उन्हें बधाई देकर व पंजाब के मंत्री नवजोत सिधु ने मौजूदा प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान के शपथ ग्रहण में जाकर 125 करोड़ देशवासियों के सिर को झुका दिया है।
मेहता ने पत्र में आंतकवाद के खात्मे को लेकर सेना व अन्य सुरक्षा बलों के खिलाफ जम्मू कश्मीर/पंजाब/मणिपुर/असम में मानव अधिकारों के हनन के नाम पर दर्ज केसों को तत्काल खारिज कर उन्हें खुली छूट देने की मांग की मेहता ने कहा पंजाब में डेढ़ दशक तक आंतकवाद रहा लेकिन पंजाब पुलिस के बहादुर अधिकारियों व जवानों ने निडरता से उसे कुचल दिया लेकिन केंद्र सरकार के इशारों पर पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेई के कार्यकाल दौरान पंजाब के अधिकारियों के विरुद्ध सीबीआई ने झूठे केस दर्ज कर उन्हें परेशान करना शुरू कर दिया जोह आज़तक चल रहा है उसी के नतीजे है कि पिछले कुछ समय से पंजाब में पूण अलगावादी ताकते सक्रिय हो रही है मेहता ने लिखा कि श्री हिन्दू तख्त वहाँ सेना व सुरक्षा बलों को खुले तौर पर अपने ढंग से आंतकवाद का खात्मा करने की वकालत करता है।
